I provide tailored, flexible breastfeeding and infant feeding support within the comfort of your own home.
I’m an IBCLC and Registered Children’s Nurse, with 10 plus years experience working in Neonatal Intensive Care at a busy London hospital, holding both a Batchelor of Science and specialist neonatal qualifications. As a neonatal nurse, I first found a passion for supporting women into motherhood and empowering them to make informed choices about how to feed their babies. Witnessing the benefits of breast milk for hospitalised infants inspired me to study as a Lactation Consultant.
I have considerable experience supporting mothers with their individual feeding goals, from hand expressing breastmilk to exclusive breastfeeding and supporting women with low breastmilk supply. Based in Hampton, I work independently around South West London; throughout Richmond, Twickenham, Hounslow, Kingston, Feltham, Walton-on-Thames and beyond, supporting families in their own homes, both ante- and post-natally.
I recognise families as unique entities, with very personal feeding goals and my passion lies in supporting as such. I am fully insured and a member of Lactation Consultants of Great Britain, I keep my knowledge up to date to provide the latest in evidence based professional expertise.
What is an IBCLC?
The IBCLC title is the highest-regarded professional qualification in breastfeeding knowledge and support. The qualification is not just academic, but also the result of completing over 1000 hours of clinical experience working with breastfeeding mothers and babies.
IBCLCs are knowledgeable in all areas of lactation and provide evidence based information to support both basic and complex breastfeeding challenges. IBCLCs are regulated by The International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE) and are required to re-certify every 5 years and work within a code of professional conduct.
